Overview
In response to extremist settler violence, the US established a West Bank sanctions regime which authorises travel bans and asset freezes on (inter alia) foreign persons determined to be responsible for policies that threaten the peace, security, or stability of the West Bank or involved in acts of violence targeting civilians in the West Bank.
The EU and UK do not have West Bank-specific regimes but have designated Israeli settlers on their global human rights sanctions regimes. Canada has also designated, and New Zealand has imposed travel bans on Israeli settlers.
See Hamas & PIJ regime page for sanctions on Hamas & PIJ.
