The EU has a Ukraine sanctions regime which targets ex-Ukrainian government officials said to be responsible for the misappropriation of Ukrainian state funds or human rights violations. The UK has not retained these sanctions post-Brexit, but such conduct would be covered by the UK’s global anti-corruption regime.
