UN Mali sanctions ended in August 2023.
The EU may impose asset freezes and travel bans on (inter alia) people and entities responsible for or complicit in, or having engaged, directly or indirectly, in the actions or policies that threaten the peace, security, or stability of Mali, obstructing or undermining the successful completion of Mali’s political transition, or being associated with such individuals and entities.
The UK may impose asset freezes and travel bans on (inter alia) people and entities failing to comply with or to implement the Agreement on Peace and Reconciliation in Mali, an attack against, or obstruction of the activities of diplomatic personnel, personnel undertaking humanitarian assistance activity, or the institutions, bodies, missions and mechanisms on international organisations or local peace forces, obstruction of the delivery or distribution of, or access to, humanitarian assistance, the commission of a serious human rights violation or abuse, and any other action, policy or activity which threatens the peace, stability and security of Mali or undermines efforts to implement the Agreement on Peace and Reconciliation in Mali.
The US may designate (inter alia) individuals and entities involved in actions or policies that threaten the peace, security, or stability, or undermining democracy in Mali, acts in violation of the implementation of, the 2015 Agreement on Peace and Reconciliation in Mali, conducting attacks against local, regional, or state institutions, obstructing the delivery of humanitarian assistance, or planning an act that violates international humanitarian law.

Current US Sanctions
