The US has removed Patraca S.A from its counternarcotics sanctions list under the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act, cargo ship Maraya from its Libya sanctions list, and Tatyana Protopovich from its Belarus sanctions list.

  • Patraca SA was listed in 2007 under the Kingpin Act, for being a front company for US-sanctioned Blanca Cazares;
  • The Maraya was listed in 2020, for being the property of US-sanctioned Alwefaq Ltd, part of a network smuggling fuel from, and drugs through, Libya to Malta;
  • Protopovich was listed in 2024 for being linked to US-sanctioned Centuronic Ltd.

See our Libya-US, Belarus-US, and Narcotics-US pages for more information on these sanctions regimes.
