The Czech Republic is a UN and EU member state and implements UN and EU sanctions. The implementation of international sanctions in the Czech Republic is governed by Act No. 69/2006 Sb (International Sanctions Act). On 3 January 2023, the Czech Republic introduced national sanctions legislation, which it has used to impose asset freezes and travel bans on individuals who are not designated by the EU.
