Conditions of the licence:

  • UK financial institutions may process these payments.
  • Entities relying on the licence must notify HM Treasury in writing, by email to [email protected]. They must do so within 14 days of starting the activity, or within 14 days of 12 August 2026 if they were already relying on the licence. They must also provide their contact details and report any changes.
  • Designated people and entities, and entities they own or control, cannot rely on the licence.
