The UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation has added the Kurdistan Export Pipeline to the list of exempt projects in GL INT/2025/5635700, its Russian exempt projects general licence – publication notice.

The licence permits non-designated persons to continue business operations involving certain sanctioned Russian oil companies, including Rosneft, Lukoil, Transneft and Gazpromneft-Sakhalin, where those operations relate to specified oil and gas projects. It now covers 9 live projects, the newly added Kurdistan Export Pipeline running until 14 October 2027.

See our UK Licensing page for all UK GLs.
