EU statements on third country alignment with Iran sanctions decisions

The EU has published 3 statements on third country alignment with EU sanctions on Iran. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and Ukraine have aligned with

• The EU’s decision to add 6 people to its Regulation (EU) 359/2011 sanctions list – statement.

• The decision to remove 3 people from its Regulation (EU) 267/2012 list – statement.

• The decision to renew the Regulation (EU) 2023/1529 list, which targets Iran’s military support for Russia’s war in Ukraine and armed groups in the Middle East – statement.
