Global Sanctions at London International Disputes Week – discussion of changed behaviour & targeted sanctions

Global Sanctions and Brick Court Chambers are hosting a discussion at LIDW in London on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, from 4:30pm to 6pm. The event, “Should sanctions regimes recognise changed behaviour?” will discuss how targeted sanctions can change the behaviour of targets and how different jurisdictions approach ‘changed behaviour’ in considering de-listings.

Maya Lester KC will chair a discussion between sanctions experts from multiple jurisdictions:

  • Katherine Fox, Head of the Sanctions Litigation Unit at the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office
  • Judge Kimberley Prost, former UN Al-Qaida sanctions Ombudsperson and current International Criminal Court judge
  • Erich Ferrari, Managing Shareholder at Ferrari & Associates
  • Michael O’Kane, Senior Partner of Peters & Peters and co-founder of Global Sanctions
