The UK has added additional CSV and Text formats of the UK sanctions list and has updated the link to the HTML format of the list as part of preparations for the move to a single list for UK sanctions designations. All formats of the UK sanctions list can be found on the UK sanctions list guidance page. The UK is moving to a single list for sanctions designations from 28 January 2026. This means:

  • Any systems that use the Consolidated List for screening should instead use data from the Sanctions List.
  • Any systems that use ‘OFSI Group ID’ as an identifier will need to use the UK Sanctions List’s ‘Unique ID’ for new designated persons. ‘OFSI Group IDs’ will not be used for new designations, but remain valid for licence applications etc.
