Ukraine has amended its sanctions regulations to target vessels & aircraft. The amendments update the Regulations on the State Register of Sanctions to clarify that the regulations apply to vessels & aircraft. Ukraine’s primary sanctions legislation is its Sanctions Act.

Ukraine has also designated 39 people and 55 companies who are said to manufacture and develop drones that use artificial intelligence. The sanctioned entities include:

  • 43 Russian entities including Zala Aero, which has also been designated by the US and UK and
  • 10 Chinese and 2 Belarussian entities.
