Poland has added fertiliser wholesaler TST PL and its beneficial owner, Armen Seryozhaevich Harutyunyan, on its national sanctions list for importing products made by Belarussian fertiliser manufacturer Grodno Azot, in breach of EU sanctions.

TST PL is said to have imported over 3 million tonnes of fertiliser urea from Technospetstrading LLC and GrandGranit LLC between 2023-2025 – statement of reasons. Technospetstrading and GrandGranit were sanctioned by Poland in December 2024 and August 2025 respectively for their links to Grodno Azot, an EU-sanctioned Belarussian fertiliser manufacturer said to have close ties to the Lukashenko regime. Poland’s Interior Ministry said that TST’s continued import of products related to Grodno Azot meant that it met the designation criteria under Article 3 of Poland’s Sanctions Act 2022.

Mr Harutyunyan, an Armenian national, is said to be TST’s beneficial owner – statement of reasons. He is also said to control Technospetstrading and to be the owner and director of World Chem Trading Co LLC, also subject to sanctions in Poland for its links to Grodno Azot.

Both TST and Mr Harutyunyan are now subject to asset freezes and transaction bans in Poland. They are not sanctioned by the EU. Poland imposes autonomous sanctions in addition to EU measures where people or entities pose a threat to national security or support hostile regimes.
